As an account manager at Boileau & Co., I wear many hats—from creating social media content and digital marketing campaigns to meeting with clients and strategizing with the team on key messages and creative direction. I also coordinate with team members across projects to ensure everything stays on track. "What's most interesting about my role is that there's no specific client or industry we stick to. We welcome all kinds of communication work for all sorts of companies with different products and offerings. That keeps me on my toes, but I feel like I get to learn about something new with every client."

Work History

My peers know me for my energetic attitude, willingness to dive into the unknown, and genuine enjoyment of being around people.

Prior to joining Boileau, I served as a project manager for a video production company. I’ve also gotten the chance to work with a nonprofit developing event-specific digital campaign strategy. Before that, I interned as a camera director for the Kalamazoo Growlers baseball team for their live-streamed games.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Film and Media with a Production concentration and my master’s degree in Media and Strategic Communication, both from Calvin University.

About Me

Something about me you won't find on my LinkedIn bio:

I'm a major softball fanatic and have played all my life (still play slow-pitch).

Actual things coworkers have said to me:

  • “What’s your second favorite color?” (I said purple)
  • “I’m digging this playlist you got going.” (The shuffle was strong that day)

Secret skill:

I could eat a whole pizza by myself in one sitting with little struggle.

Guilty pleasure song:

Black Sheep by Metric

Biggest pet peeve:

When people eat/chew with their mouth open (I've had an issue with this since I was a kid).

Favorite nostalgic movie:

The Goonies

Kryptonite:

Mashed potatoes (not only do I have to have them if they're present, but I have to have an insane amount of them).

Best place on earth:

Floating on a catamaran, drink in hand, on my way to some tropical island.
