by Blog, News

We have hired Greg DeWeerd as communications specialist to work directly with clients, helping to develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans to achieve their company goals.

“Greg brings a diverse skill set to Boileau that includes web and graphic design skills, an emphasis on SEO and digital strategy, and a desire to solve problems for our clients,” said Vince Boileau, principal of Boileau Communications. “We are excited to have him and anticipate his skill set translating well to what we do each day.”

As communications specialist, DeWeerd will work with Boileau clients to develop and implement marketing tools like brand copywriting, collateral design, website development and video production. Prior to joining Boileau, DeWeerd served as marketing director for FreedomNet and a graphic designer with Northbound Studio while also consulting on a freelance basis.

In his free time, DeWeerd likes spending time with his wife and two kids and enjoys camping, hiking and going to the beach. DeWeerd also has a passion for learning new skills and returned to Kendall College of Art and Design to develop additional web and graphic design skills in addition to his bachelor’s degree from Davenport University.
