Boileau Communications, a strategic communications firm in Holland, MI, recently hired Berkeley Benson and Allison Matz as Associate Content Developers. In their new positions, both Berkeley and Allison will help tell clients’ stories through collaborative blogs, releases and social campaigns to support client strategic objectives.
With both agency and in-house experience, Berkeley brings a unique blend of writing and illustration to the Boileau team. While earning her degree in Professional Writing and Information Design from Cedarville University, Berkeley also worked as the newspaper cartoonist. After skipping around the Midwest for the past few years, Berkeley has enjoyed making West Michigan her home base.
In the rare moments when she’s not reading about the Golden Age of aviation, Berkeley is probably drinking a cortado, taking her bulldogs to the beach, or publishing a children’s book.
Allison joins the Boileau team with writing and communication experience from her previous role at Grand Valley State University, her alma mater. Allison earned a degree in English Literature and Writing and enjoys being able to express creativity and storytelling through her chosen career. Born and raised in West Michigan, Allison loves her beaches and her beer.
In her free time, Allison can likely be found attempting handstands during yoga practice, reading with a cup of coffee beside her, listening to Fleetwood Mac records, or watching reruns of Friends on repeat.
